Size
Australia is a big country, approximately the same size as the United States. It is also one of the most urbanised countries on the planet, with the vast majority of its population living in the coastal, capital cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.

There are many small towns scattered about the country as well, but there are often large distances between them, filled with farmland, wilderness and desert. This is one of the things that makes Australia unique.

Please take this into consideration when selecting your tour.
